Emotions can encourage and drive us toward achieving a goal, or they can confuse or even paralyze us, hindering the achievement of our goals. They are of genetic origin and inseparable companions that coexist in us to a greater or lesser extent. Repressing, hiding or denying them does not eliminate their existence, being at their mercy would lead us to act as irrational beings; the sensible thing is to reconcile with them, recognize them in ourselves, identify them and handle them for our own benefit. Our IQ can be very high, the knowledge and experience in an area, insurmountable, but if we do not control our emotionality or manage ourselves inappropriately in the interpersonal plane, the road to success becomes difficult and the goals, distant and unattainable. Raising our emotional coefficient is feasible with willingness and training.
