Safety in the Operation of Overhead Cranes

Bridge crane operators need to develop basic skills that allow them to perform tasks related to lifting suspended loads, operating equipment in accordance with established safety standards, and developing procedures for lifting and transferring cargo through the use, operation and handling of overhead cranes. Once the competencies have been acquired and evaluated, the participant may receive a certification prior to meeting the training objectives.
