Knowledge of techniques for the primary care of emergencies related to the physical body of the affected person or persons in order to preserve life while paramedics or specialized emergency personnel arrive on the scene and attend to the patient. It is scientifically proven that early attention to certain events such as drowning, cardiac or respiratory arrest, cuts, hypothermia, etc., places life at high risk of being lost and that is where a person or group is required who is trained to take action primary emergency.
